This job does not involve intellectual property litigation or the prosecution/registration of any intellectual property. Successful candidates will demonstrate ability to manage fast-paced client transactions and to provide pragmatic counsel related to clients' technology commercialization strategies.
#11-094 Palo Alto - Mid-level Technology Transactions associate with broad IP transactional experience including mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliances, joint ventures and asset dispositions. Background and experience in negotiating and drafting patent and technology licenses, software licenses, and other technology-related transactions. Experience with services and consulting agreements, development agreements, distributor agreements, joint development agreements, university technology spin-outs, etc. a plus. Electrical engineering, computer science or other engineering degree helpful but not required.
#11-095 Palo Alto - Technology Transactions associate with 4-6 years of experience, practice to focus on transactions in the biotechnology industry primarily, and potentially in the clean tech and medical device industries as well. Licensing experience in the biotechnology industry is preferred, but significant transactional and/or intellectual property experience will be considered. A biology, chemistry and/or business background is preferred.
