Shannon L. Avnsoe Lead Recruiter Shannon Avnsoe has over eighteen years of experience in the legal field. She was a Senior Attorney Recruiter with Kass/Abell & Associates, with nine years of recruiting experience placing attorneys with law firms and companies throughout California and the United States. Prior to becoming a legal recruiter, Shannon was a trial paralegal for ten years, working with both a top-tier international law firm and a regional boutique, and in house with an entertainment company. She worked on litigation matters in a broad range of industries and practice areas, including patent law, intellectual property, entertainment, securities, medical device and pharmaceutical products liability, labor & employment, environmental, land use and real estate. As a paralegal, she worked in the Los Angeles office of a highly regarded New York-based international law firm, where she was selected to be part of the trial team on a high profile class action case. She worked with the lead attorney, who was named by the National Law Journal as one of the “100 Most Influential Lawyers in America.” Shannon frequently volunteered her paralegal services to the California Lawyers for the Arts, Independent Feature Project/West Legal Resource Bank, and Bet Tzedeck Legal Services. Shannon has extensive working knowledge of law firm culture and the legal market, both from the standpoint of a legal recruiter as well as from her many years of first hand experience working in the law firm “trenches.” She has an excellent track record placing attorneys at all levels and practice areas, keeping their own career goals in mind.
